In Italy there is “skiing,” and then there’s skiing, according to Powder magazine associate editor John Clary Davies. “Skiing” involves eating strudel, drinking espresso, smoking cigarettes, and “basking in the sun in front of a Tyrolean hut that was probably built five centuries ago,” he wrote.
