Donovan Frankenreiter’s New Album

Surfer, musician, family man and all-around super chill guy, Donovan Frankenreiter has released his fifth album, ‘Start Livin.’ The album takes on a more experimental approach with pots, pans, bells, Zippo lighters, and cans serving as the percussion. Donavon describes his newest album as “basically a love album. Most of the songs are about my wife and our two boys, and the life that we’ve built together in Hawaii.”

Donovan also pays tribute to fellow surfer and friend Andy Irons with a track titled ‘A.I.’ Frankenreiter says of the song “I’d never been that close to someone who passed away before. The song’s about me telling Andy I just wish I could see him one more time.” Frankenreiter is currently on tour and the CD is available now.
