Vans has kept its lips tightly sealed on its latest endeavor of footwear that is to be “the future.”

The future of the company that’s been in business since 1966 is the Vans LXVI (pronounced Vans 66), which will be aimed more around the lifestyle of action sports rather than the “core” skateboarder on which they built the brand.

The Vans LXVI will focus on new construction technologies, designed for comfort and wear-ability. It will be released in five different styles to start: Graph, Secant, Inscribe, Variable and Ortho.

Although Vans is already beloved around the world, they are officially going global. The mystery will officially be solved on the Vans website here on June 28, 2012.
