Ken Block to Drive for Ford

By: Teddy Parker

Ken Block, co-founder of DC Shoes and famed Rally driver, has done so much for the sport in the past year or so. Ken helped bring rally car driving to a more mainstream audience through his popular YouTube Gymkhana videos, also by excelling in the X Games. Ken is excited about his future plans for his rally career, and those plans will be made a reality in a Ford.

His new team has proven to be no joke as team Ford member Kenny Brack took Summer X Games Gold last year against the likes of Subaru's Travis Pastrana, Block's now former team mate. Ford has done a lot to bolster it's rally roster in the past year adding Block to an already stacked team including Tanner Foust and Brian Deegan, who are also X Games competitors driving the 2011 Ford Fiesta. Block will be driving the Focus RS in the World Rally Championship under Monster Energy and Ford Racing.

Ken Block will also be the first American to compete in a full season in the FIA World Rally Championship this upcoming year. Block hopes to put America on the map by competing against the world's best rally drivers next year.

Below you will find photos of his new Fiesta and videos of him getting a feel for his car... And by getting a feel I mean pinning it in snow conditions in preparation for SNODRIFT. Stay tuned...

Many of those questions may..
