Freestyle Motocross Rider Jimmy Hill breaks both wrists

By: Nate Hoppes

Metal Mulisha freestyle rider Jimmy Hill broke both of his wrists while attempting a superman seatgrab while training at the Mulisha Compound in Temecula, CA. He missed the grab during the trick he's done successfully more than a thousand times.

In a interview with ESPN he commented on the accident. "That trick is super-deceiving, once you get comfortable and think you have it down, it comes back to bite you."

This should serve as a reminder that when things go wrong in FMX they usually end bad. There's no margin of error in a sport with such a gnarly level of danger every time they launch themselves into the air.

For Hill, hopefully this is only a minor setback to his career as he has a bright future in FMX evident by his performances lately at numerous Metal Mulisha demos.
