Isle of Man TT racer narrowly avoids crashing at 150 mph; video

On Sunday, as reported by Digg, during the Isle of Man TT Pokerstars Senior Race, racer James Hillier managed to correct himself traveling at 150 mph around a corner — an amazing feat that you have to see to believe.

In the video, as Hillier approaches a section of the race known as Ballagarey Corner, he starts to lose control of his Kawasaki Superbike, knocking one of his feet off the pegs as he rounds the corner.

He manages to get himself straightened out to avoid what could have been a horrible a crash.

The Isle of Man TT is one of the deadliest races in the world, with hundreds of deaths since its beginning in 1907.

Incredibly high speeds and a complex course combine to create conditions rarely seen in any other race.
