USA has shot at podium with Sage Kotsenburg

Park City, Utah, native's signature creativity could be a strong asset in men's slopestyle competition

Sage Kotsenburg, who’s currently doing a hell of a job representing the USA in men’s Olympic snowboard slopestyle in Sochi, Russia, may be in it for a medal like everyone else, but that’s just part of his story. The 20-year-old is known for his dynamic creativity and infectiously positive attitude, and when he hits the course it’s as much about riding for the pure love of snowboarding as it is about trying to catch the judges’ attention. Check out the video above for more about one of our podium favorites—tracked all season long in the “Holy Crail” video series on TransWorld SNOWboarding—at the 2014 Winter Games.
