Addison Toki and Dominick Gaballo were only five miles off Oahu's west shore when the "Jaws"-like episode occurred, causing Toki to remark, "Talk about Jaws, this is the real deal right here!"
The large predator circled their boat for about an hour before they returned to port to deliver their fresh catch to the fish auction.
White sharks are not uncommon off Hawaii at this time of year, but seeing them is rare--and watching one circle the boat, and in this case take a test bite on the propeller, is considered a once-in-a-lifetime experience, even for veteran fishermen.
