Copywriter and creative director Charles Youel first introduced the concept of Artcrank to the world in 2007 in Minneapolis. Since then Artcrank, which is a bicycle-inspired art show that exhibits posters created by local artists, has grown to include 11 international locations.
The show was even part of bike industry mega-convention Interbike in Las Vegas last year, and it is set to take place Sept. 19 at Interbike this year.
Artcrank says it hopes to “use creativity to change how people think about bicycles and grow the cycling community,” according to Artcrank’s vimeo site.
Artcrank’s upcoming shows also include one in Denver on Sept. 1 and another in London on Sept. 7.
