Bike magazine‘s Heavy Pedal tour–which follows the antics of “Natty and Trey” as they mountain bike North America’s best trails–recently made its way to Stevens Pass Bike Park in Washington. In the video below, the duo talks over beers about the “Slingshot Wookiee” trail, which was their favorite trail in the park. “The original name was going to be slingshot, but one of our trail guides, his nickname is the Wookiee–long hair, big beard. We would call him in if the trail got unruly, and the Wookiee took care of it. So the trail name morphed into Slingshot Wookiee, which now everybody loves,” said Joel Martinez, Stevens Pass Bike Park’s vice president of operations. To watch the video, click here.
