The Deep Summer Photo Challenge is a photo contest in Whistler, British Columbia, that asks photographers to submit shots of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park or valley taken over three days in the summer, and Bike magazine recently decided to highlight photographer Mike Zinger’s submission into the contest, just for kicks. “I made the switch to mountain biking as I got to know other people who were into it, and fell in love with the scenery, landscapes, and the diversity of the sport itself,” Zinger told the magazine about his focus on mountain biking photography.
