Every year the crew at Bike magazine travels to some far-off place to test bikes and gear and more bikes for their annual gear guide, the Bible of Bike Tests. The place they travel to needs to be special, because it needs awesome trails and “the right mix of trails. After all, we’re not simply testing cross-country bikes or trail bikes or all-mountain bikes or downhill bikes. We’re testing all of the above (as well as a veritable crap load of gear),” Bike magazine wrote. This year, they selected Fruita, Colorado, as their testing place, and they’ve put together a little guide on what to expect when you ride there.
