Thomas Vanderham releases video edit of dream bike trip

Fast and flowy trail riding from Kamloops, British Columbia, to Utah

Vancouver, British Columbia-based mountain biker Thomas Vanderham took off on a week-long road trip from the Canadian forests to the Utah deserts. It was his dream trip. He wanted to hit all of his favorite places, and he hit them good. Shot by Vanderham and edited by award-winning Anthill Films, the edit is the first in a five-part series called “Dream Capture” that will be released over 2013.

“I think every rider out there can relate to a dream week of riding. My goal with ‘Trail Crawl’ was to ride as many of my favorite spots as physically possible in a week and capture every single moment on the Action Cam. It was a crazy trip and one I’ll remember for a long time. Thanks to everyone who came to ride with me and the crew,” Vanderham says.

According to the Anthill guys, trying to fit all of Vanderham’s dreams into one week made things a little rowdy: “The first five days of the trip covered a lot of ground in the Pacific Northwest. But to get all of Thomas’ favorite trails to fit into one week, it only made sense to jump on a plane to link Oregon with southern Nevada. An obligatory night was spent in Sin City that resulted in a more ‘traditional’ crawl.”

Reminder: May is bike month. Here are some tips for getting on your bike.
