Daily Grind: Canoe and Kayak releases first episode of ‘Skook Classified’

Canoe and Kayak magazine is currently rolling out a web series called “Skook Classified,” which follows a group of sea kayakers who are trying to redefine what’s possible in their sport. In the first episode, the kayakers descend upon British Columbia’s Skookumchuck Narrows, which are said to house some of the fastest tidal rapids on Earth, for a competition called Skook Fest. As you can hear for yourself in the video, the rapids are “pretty terrifying,” and if you’re not swimming for part of your kayaking session, you’re doing something wrong.
