Destination 3 Degrees: Costa Rica

Jenny Kalmbach’s and Morgan Hoesterey’s Destination 3 Degrees project, a mission to paddle all of the Hawaiian Island channels on standup boards, raising awareness of plastic’s affect on our oceans in the process. The duo continues their mission in Costa Rica, paddling Kalmbach’s native country. And SUP magazine wanted to ride along. Starting in the capital of San Jose, the girls and friends, including photographer Shannon Switzer, travel the Pacific coast. Follow their adventures in this series of videos set to run on SUPthemag.com. The first is from a recent downind run on Lake Arenal.
