Incredible video shows 400-foot jumps on ‘most insane rope swing ever’

The video is called “World’s Most Insane Rope Swing Ever!!!” and it is aptly named. After all, you’ve got to be insane to do what these guys did, jumping off a 400-foot canyon wall and swinging through the gorge. The video comes from the popular Internet moviemaker Devin Graham, aka Devin Super Tramp, the same guy who brought you the “World’s Largest Rope Swing” that has generated more than 16 million views on YouTube in just over a year. Take a look at his latest, craziest creation:

The video was shot at an undisclosed location over the course of three days, according to Devin Super Tramp spokesman and jumper Dallin Smith.

The other jumpers were Scott Rogers, Brian Mosbaugh, Jess Powell, Creighton Baird, Chesney Paul, Rob Selfaison, Susannah Hertz, Shay Carl, Andy Lewis, Madison Schoessow, Seth Jones, TJ Hailey, and Braden Ta’ala.

“The first day we had some issues setting everything up properly and only Creighton and Shay Carl jumped,” Smith told GrindTV Outdoor. “The second day we got the majority of our shots and were able to cycle through everyone at a rate of about one jump per 45 minutes to 1 hour.”

Every conceivable angle of the jumps was captured. The overhead shots were taken from a remote helicopter. It was a very sophisticated setup, and in a word, insane.
