Seagull swipes video camera, films flight over San Francisco Bay

Who wouldn’t enjoy a bird’s-eye view of San Francisco Bay at sunset–especially when that view is provided by an actual bird? The accompanying video is courtesy of a seagull that swiped Nathalie Rollandin’s GoPro camera near the Golden Gate Bridge, and soared across part of the bay, filming on the wing.

The footage is a bit cockeyed, and pulsates with the beat of the gull’s wings, but it otherwise reveals a very nice sunset. And after depositing the camera on a building ledge, undamaged, the gull was even brazen enough to position its getaway in front of the lens.
