Teva ‘Proof of Life’ Photo Contest Weekly Update: And the Winner is…

This week’s Teva photo contest winner is Mike English of Mountain View, California. He titled the photo “Nine Feet to Flat” and shot it after taking a 9-foot fall and crushing his wheel.

The photo–and the destroyed wheel–won English a pair of Teva Links Mid Shoes.

English’s win is part of Teva’s ongoing “Proof of Life” contest, which asks riders to “upload pictures of their most reliable, worn, beat up bike that tells the story of its adventure better than any other. The goal is to submit a photo of the bike that shows the most authentic proof of life,” Teva said.

At the end of August a grand-prize winner will be selected and will win $1,000 cash (which might help replace some crushed bike parts) and an autographed Jeff Lenosky frameset and Teva prize pack.
