Just about everyone was a trick-shot artist at some point in their lives, having made a ridiculous toss that somehow achieved its seemingly impossible target. The accompanying footage is a collection of these whacky but impressive shots, made by ordinary people in backyards, front yards, at the beach and on the water. They are not professionals, which is partly why this is such a fun clip, sure to inspire smiles and, in some cases, amazement.
The Waboba Trickshot Contest Winners production is four minutes long, culminating with a winners section beginning at the 2:04 mark, but some of the best trick shots are in the first half.
However, be sure to catch the “Best Trickshot” by Noah Miller at the 3:22 mark. It entails a front flip off a water trampoline, skipping a ball across the water before landing, and having the ball strike its target: a standing bottle on the beach.
Silly, of course. But they are moments to which many people can relate.
