Looking for a challenge this weekend? We’ve got just the thing if you’re going to be in Southern California: the Quiksilver Waterman’s Festival.
From the mind of 10-time Molokai champion Jamie Mitchell is an innovative set of races for the paddle sports. Comprising of SUP, swim and paddle events, the Quiksilver Waterman’s Festival takes place in Huntington Beach, California on Sunday, August 14.
Only a week to go ! Should be a great day at the beach and on the water . If you want to be apart of the event please go to www.paddleguru.com or hit the link in my bio and find a race that suits you. These type of events don't come along to often and if we want more events like this supported by great companies we all need to come out and support it! #sup #swim #prone #survivor #dashforcash #10'6 @quiksilver @qbpaddles @futuresfins @jm_paddleboards @stickybumpswax @intelliskin @onitpro @liquidiv @millenniumfoam @m120_meals @supracer
Three sets of races will test competitor’s water abilities in different ways. The survivor races feature a knockout format for only the elite. The classic races are a traditional race around a buoy and back. And the dash for cash is just that: a race for money with the winner getting the goods. Even if you aren’t up for the challenge, swing by and check out the activities going down in Huntington.
