This profile belongs to former semi pro freestyle skateboarder and street skater John Trimble. The video "Back to the Glory Days" includes clips from when he was a little shredder from the age of 11 on up to 30 in 2006.

It shows him skating in a few different demos at schools, Gale Webb action sports shows, T.V. show and commercial, different contests and just plain ripping it up at the skate parks and streets of southern California.

John has competed and performed
in demos with some of the top pro street skaters you see today. If freestyle skateboarding had continued it's popularity and contests, John would without a doubt be one of your top professional freestyle athletes in the skate scene today.

"Back to the Glory days" has had many positive reviews on youtube and on myspace already. So take 6 minutes to watch this cool film John edited and choreographed in Winter 2006.

Today John studies 3D animation in hopes to get work in a studio one day.

lets just say I was planning on turning pro the year after freestyle contests stopped all together. I still kept skating for a few years after that. I guess I could be pro, but not officially yet. maybe when i get a chance to compete in the wfsa next year, I might just go ahead and compete in the pro division even if I don't have a sponsor. Maybe someone will sponsor me at the contest, who knows.

I saw him at a few amature skateboard contests and sessioned with him for a little bit. This was also in the early 90's I've also met and spoken with the Hawk a couple times. once skating in his backyard skatepark, another time was in a mexican restraunt in Escondido, CA. he's a pretty cool, nice guy. Both of them are pretty nice actually. They're humans like everyone else, just with exceptionally great skills in skateboarding.

I'm doing fine. sorry about your loss. I just lost my Dad last November. It's tough to go through. I understand. everyone goes through mourning differently.

so seriously how long have you been skating and how many doctor bills did it take you to get there? i have only been skating seriously for 1 year and off and on for another two but i have already wrecked both my wrist and had 1 surgery. not that that pushes me away i just see you skills and it makes me wonder.

I replied via: private message, for anyone else wondering the same thing, in a nut shell, I only had one major injury from skateboarding and it was from ramp riding. torn shoulder ligaments that healed over time. Other than that, I stuck to freestyle (close to the ground) most the time. I always worked my way up cautiousely toward new tricks and ability, so I rarely got injured.
