| Hi Everyone,
What a month it has been. We had two issues (40 & 41) sitting at the printer during
Ponca and Loretta's, (in ten years that has happened 3 times), and they are going
out as we speak. #42, with Loretta's and Rider of the Year coverage goes to the
printer at the end of this week, and I am also working on issue #43 and #44. As
well, this month, I have been to Colorado, tested some bikes for upcoming issues and
so much more. Now that everything is calming down a bit, I have been able to put
together a new iMPOUND column for you right here -
http://www.amateurmx.com/new/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1279&Itemid=124 or at www.Amateurmx.com.
Just also wanted to say thank you to everyone who came by the website during Ponca
City and Loretta Lynn's. We have been doing updates, photos and more since 1998 for
those people who weren't able to make it to the races. Up until 2006, we were the
only ones doing it at all, anywhere on the internet. Now that there are a couple of
other sites doing it, I just wanted to thank you for continuing to visit
AmateurMX.com. In August, we had to up our bandwidth 3 times due to the amount of
traffic and our host suggested a dedicated server. LOL. Seriously, after 10 years,
that just blows my mind. We had over 48,000 people come to the site from July 24 to
Aug. 5, the most ever. We grew this year, both the magazine and the website and we
hope you are patient with us while we continue to try and bring you the best amateur
coverage available.
Thanks again,
Chris Hultner
