John Cawley here from bambusa skateboards. Bambusa skateboards are 100% bamboo decks that come in three and four ply. Hybrid boards that are three ply bamboo and two ply maple.
My business partner and I are old skaters whose kids have fallen head over heal for riding. Their young and loving it. This a perfect chance for me to get back into skating and being around skating. The sport has changed so much for me from the time I attached metal roller skate wheels to a two by four and nailed them to togehter. Stood on top and took off down a massive hill and crashed horribly. Got up again and made it the second time down.
I hope to bring new and old riders another choice when it comes to decks. Were trying to do our part in helping the enviroment and still be able to ride an awesome board. This oppurtunity comes once a life time and were going to run with it. Were going to be earthy but edgey and radical but not raunchy. Check out bambusa boy . He'll be hitting the stores soon.
