• Bubba Jumps to Team Suzuki

Changing bike sponsors is usually not big news in the world of professional motocross. But when 2-time AMA Supercross Champ James "Bubba" Stewart, AKA The Fastest Man on the Planet, jumps rides it makes headlines. Bubba officially announced his move from Joe Gibbs Racing and Yamaha over to Yoshimura Suzuki Racing this week.

He'll make his first start on the Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 at Hangtown in Sacramento next weekend at the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. JS7 also stated his intention to race the entire 2012 Outdoor National series this summer (a first for him since 2008 when he claimed the Outdoor title).

Despite his meteoric rise to the top of Supercross racing, Bubba's got to be feeling snake bit lately. A rash of injuries, untimely crashes and a run-in with the police (ironically for impersonating a police officer) have all lead to a wobbly mid-career run. And if you happen to be a fan of his reality show on FUEL TV, you know there must be plenty of melodrama following his every move.

Below is fresh video of JS7 testing the new ride at his personal test track in steamy central Florida.
