So share with me about crab catcher...Is it what I watch when I watch that Dealiest Catch show on TV? You have my utmost admiration for what you do..I can't imagine how heart wrecking it is for anyone to have a family member that's out there doing this for work..I know I wouldn't be able to breath if it was me waiting for the return of a love one from the sea. How long have you been doing this? What do you love most about it and what's the worst part of this work? How often do you make this trip? When will you be back out in the ocean again? If you have time to write back, please kindly share with me. It's a topic I have not much knowledge about..I remeber thinking after the first time I saw the show, I had to buy the crablegs when I was in the store just because I knew how much troubles someone went through just to catch them for us so we could have the pleasure of tasting them. NOw I know that someone was you ! Thank you for doing what you do.
Hi Bryan., thnk u so much for your reply..I have 2 children..my husband is a physician and I'm an attorney..I've told our children that it's great to have passion but the only responsibility they have for themselves n their family til they are an adult is to get an education and set the right path in life before they waste it and chasing something they have no life experience to back them up n missing out the grand opportunity of taking the 4 years in college to set a path for a great future n the resource n luxury to live out the dreams..Abby could have risking her life for something that has no value to her nor her family..She had no guidance from her parents n selfishly put the rescuers at risk to save her..I can tell you this, even though our children could have received their driver license at 16, we made them take one year of private driving lessons after the public one through their HSl and drove for 1 year with the private instructor under all weather condition before we allowed them to take the test...They learned how to change flat tire..drove through night time in the rain, before we allowed them to drive alone ..They had to drive alone for the first 6 months after they received their license before we allowed them to have a passenger..They must know the impact of what it would do to them, their family and those that are in the car with them and those that are on the road with them when they get behind the wheels..This is what a 16 yr old should only be doing..not sailing across the Indian Ocean in a expensive toy that she has no means of affording..I hate the way the media exploiting this and make it seems like she did something impressive ..All I would want my children to do or worry about at 16 is to have fun doing the age appropriate stuffs, go to school learn things and be respectful to their friends, families and elderly..Not doing what Abby did.. I wish u joy & happiness in everything you do. Have a wonderul weekend w your family n friends Bryan.
