BALTIMORE (January 27, 2009)-GearWrench, a premier hand
tool brand from Danaher Tool Group, today announced its sponsorship of
the Monster Energy Cernic's Kawasaki 2009 supercross racing team. As
the exclusive hand tool sponsor of the top-level professional team,
GearWrench will outfit the team with its full line of ratcheting
wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, and more.
In the 13 years since the Cernic's Kawasaki team formed, it has won
eight National Arenacross and four Canadian Outdoor National
Championships. Monster Energy Cernic's Kawasaki includes: Paul
Carpenter, the 2008 U.S. Supercross Top Privateer Award Winner and 2007
Canadian Motocross Champion; Bobby Kiniry, a top 10 competitor in the
West Coast Supercross Lites Class; Jack Carpenter, a rookie American
Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Supercross competitor; and Heidi Cooke,
the 2007 Canadian Women's National Champion. The 2009 U.S. supercross
schedule includes 17 races in 12 states as well as Toronto. The
Canadian motocross schedule will include 9 races throughout Canada.
