"Houston, we have a problem" was the constant refrain when watching DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX rider Matt Boni as he passed rider after rider to a fifteenth place. Matt, from Geneva, Florida has been a main event fixture this year and despite a couple of DNF's is seventeenth in the overall points, ahead of some of the highly paid factory superstars. He's also one of only twelve riders to make every main event this season. "I was super pumped to ride as good as I did and I think that maybe had Stewart, Reed and bunch of other guys not been there, I could've won," said Boni after the race. The teams other rider, Kyle Keylon bonked his head pretty good in practice and this hurt his debut in the east coast 250 series. Kyle, whose dad Kenny won the 1982 St Petersburg 250 motocross national, tried his best but couldn't make the main event. "I wasn't going to race but when pops waved that plaque in my face, well then I decided to suck it up and try my best," Kyle reported. "I'm happy with the results, Kyle will get better and next week we will get team leader Jason Thomas back to start his return to supercross. JT is just going to ride practice but if he has the fastest time in the day, we'll let him ride the night show," said Forrest Butler, team manager.
