    The first race held in Seattle was on February 18, 1978 and Jimmy Ellis won a Honda. It was his first and only win on a Honda




    Chad Reed earned his 111th-consecutive AMA Supercross class start and is now first on the all-time consecutive start list

    This will be the 38th time the gate will drop in Seattle for an AMA Supercross class race


    From 1978 - 1999, the Seattle King Dome hosted AMA Supercross races


    First time winners in Seattle: Darrel Shultz-1981, Rick Johnson-1984, Jeff Ward-1984, Larry Ward-1990.


    In 1984 when Seattle hosted double-header races, Ward and Johnson won the first AMA Supercross class races of their careers


    From 1979-1989, the King Dome hosted double-header races

    Chad Reed now has 14 AMA Supercross class podium finishes this season
    and 100 career AMA Supercross class podium finishes. He is second
    behind Jeremy McGrath on the all time podium list.

    Since 2000, Yamaha has won 66 AMA Supercross class wins; Kawasaki has won 41; Honda has won 34; Suzuki has won 18.

    The first AMA Supercross Lites class race held in Seattle was on February 8, 1985, and Bader Mannea, won on a Kawasaki

    Kawasaki also won the last Lites race to be held in the King Dome in 1999

    Kawasaki won the first Lites race at Quest Field in 2005 as well as four consecutive races in Seattle
