Rolesville, North Carolina - CC Rider signed an agreement
with Antonio Balbi to compete in all twelve rounds of the Lucas Oil
Outdoor Motocross Series as their team rider. Balbi will be riding
Honda's and competing in the 450 class. CC Rider is the title sponsor
of the team.
Balbi finished in twelfth place overall in the AMA Outdoor
Motocross Series in 2008. He holds numerous championship titles in
Brazil and Latin-America. Most recently he won the 2008 Brazilian
Supercross Championship in MX1. In 2004, he won the Brazilian
Supercross Championship in MX1, the Brazilian Outdoors Championship in
MX1 and the Latin-American Championship in MX2.
CC Rider is the team known in the Supercross pits for their
light-blue motorcycles. The team started as a way for Mike Bartholomew
and Kris Mobley to help out privateers looking to compete with the
factory teams in professional motocross. The team is very comfortable
thinking outside of the box and has gained notoriety in a very short
period of time.

In response to the strong fan support for the team and the CC Rider
concept, they have launched a lifestyle apparel company. CC Rider
recently released its 2009 apparel and some mechanic's gear. The new CC
Rider product line is available on their web site at www.ccridergear.com
"I am pleased to be riding for the CC Rider team this season. The
program they put together is solid and has what I need to be able to
show up at the races and do my job. I have been training hard and my
lap times are the best they have been. I am looking forward to posting
strong results this season and doing my part to grow the CC Rider
program," commented Antonio Balbi.
The team's first race is this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California on May 23, 2009.
