MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 23, 2009) - Building on the success of
its inaugural campaign a season ago, the Muscle Milk Recovery Ride of
the Day award will return for each of the 12 stops on the 2009 Lucas
Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
The Muscle Milk Recovery Rider of the Day is an award designed to
recognize the one rider in each class that posts the best increase in
finish position from Moto 1 to Moto 2 for both, with a $500 per class
payout presented on the podium by the Muscle Milk girls each round.
"The Muscle Milk Recovery Ride of the Day was an instant success
last summer," said Nikki Brown, VP of Marketing for CytoSport. "The
Muscle Milk product line is a perfect fit for outdoor motocross and is
excellent in assisting in the athlete's recovery after each ride.
Awarding the rider who shows the most recovery on the track goes hand
in hand with the product."
Muscle Milk is presenting sponsor for the MDK/KTM Race Team and its
Muscle Milk product is also used by several of the top professional
riders in the sport.
