For some odd reason, I'm unable to respond to your comment concerning insight and knowledge.... on the other hand, such a topic does go quite a bit beyond the scope of the initial posting, so it might be best to discuss elsewhere. If you have a blog or forum you frequent where such is more relevant, perhaps we could follow up there. Worst case, is we could use these profile comment thingies here on grindtv. A couple quick bits to consider.....
1. Responses to adverse situations are not generic, albeit there are some broad classifications which can assist in predicting how folks will react. (More so as to proactively enlighten the individual, so as improve the probability of a positive outcome.)
2. Judgement as I am referring to is a proactive thing, ie to avoid needing to utilize ones skills to the max etc) Instinct, even if counter to judgment based upon knowledge can improve the probabiity of survival, but almost always after the fact where upon one has the ability to control an outcome (in other words, after mother nature has thrown out the gauntlet and everything has gone south). Replacing judgement with instinct before such happens more often than not results in death in most, but not all areas.

Liked your comments... I sort of wonder about the risk averseness of so many. It just doesnt add up.
