I kind of live on the edge. I'm tough as nails as you can see from my profile picture. Once in awhile I get hurt, but I get back up and get back on the horse, you know.
I grew up getting beat down everywhere I went, so I decided to start lifting weights. I had a few Kip Dynamite kinds of experiences that made me want to master Rex-Kwan-Do. I signed up for the six-week course, and bam, nobody messes with me anymore.
All my life I've been fascinated with learning how to use both sides of my brain. I think I'm getting there. I can write both right and left handed. Recently I scored a soccer goal with my left foot, even though I'm naturally right footed. True, it was in an all girls league and they let me in just because of my long hair, but anyway...
Whenever I get hurt, I cruise on over to my local physical rehab buddy's office to get myself patched up again. He put me on this one program that had me doing all this muscle testing stuff. I came out in the top 30% of people who have ever used that equipment. I'm pretty dang proud of that.
I'd call myself a has-been, except that I never was too good an athlete. That's no big deal, though. The ladies still love me!
