• Aaron Rathy is on FIRE! Wins Knoxville Stop.

Aaron Rathy does it again! Beating Harley Clifford once again to take home 1st place. Seems that Aaron Rathy is unbeatable at the moment. Beating Harley by almost 12 points. Phillip Soven posted a perfect 100.00 run this weekend but was unable to make it to the finals. Andrew Adkinson was once again present in the Pro Mens Finals but ended up taking 4th. Danny Harf who is known for always being on podium took 3rd to return to the podium this weekend. Harley Clifford the young Australian who came out of no where is now rocking with the the tour veterans and took home second place. Harley only being 15 years old is already breaking all the records. Aaron Rathy once again takes home 1st and all the glory.

With only 2 more stops remaining on the tour its going to come down to a battle between Harley and Aaron fighting for the overall title. Its going to be a close battle but with back to back wins, Aaron looks unstoppable. Aaron Rathy has always been a huge threat on tour and now he isn't just a threat but he is one of the best. Aaron Rathy a natural canadian is throwing down like never before. With 2 foreign riders in the top 3 this has to be an upset for the American Boys on tour.

The next stop in Louisville,KY July 18-19 who knows what will happen. But I can bet you that Aaron and Harley will be battling it out once again for 1st place.

  • Hyperlite Team Film "Rewritten" Review and Premiere

The new Hyperlite Team Film "Rewritten" is one of the most talked about videos this year. I believe its going to be one of the most talked about videos in the years to come as well. An instant classic in my book. Not only is the video going to be a classic but its going to change the way wake videos are filmed and portrayed in the future. As a videographer myself, I was blown away by the amount of work that went into this video.

Hyperlite approached Kieth Kipp at Alliance Visual Experience with the idea of the team film. With Josh McWilliams at his side Keith and Josh set out to create something thats never been done before. The video itself isn't broken up in individual rider parts but its much more of a team film. The actual video is segmented by each riders house and home lake. It creates a much different feel, different then any other wakeboard video. Each shot and trick was planned out and thought about. The intro to the video alone is going to blow everyones mind.

The actual premiere here in Orlando, Fl brought out all of the wake community to screen Rewritten for the first time. With 100s in the building and all of the team riders present the curtain was drawn. After a few words by the team riders and creators the screen was lit up. The entire video is shot in High Definition and it shows with amazing quality. The riding alone is enough to blow everyones minds but the filming doesn't disappoint.

A standing applause by all of the audience brought down the house as everyone was impressed by the video. As soon as Rewritten hits the shelves make sure you purchase a copy. I can vouch for it and say " That there has never been a video at this level of riding and filming". The hyperlite team went all out and it shows in the video.

Check out all the pictures from the premiere. Ill keep you all in the loop when the video drops.

  • Reed Hansen and Matt Manzari get down!

Recently Reed Hansen and Matt Manzari came out to the projects to session the rail park. The water level has been abnormally high this year and most of the rails are quite small. Reed and Matt like to go big! Reed is one of the most consistent wakeskaters in the world. Wether its rails, boat or flat water Reed never fails to impress. One of Reed's newest tricks is popping kickflips onto rails. Who knows where Reed will take it from there. Flip tricks on Flip tricks out and the possibilities are endless.

Matt Manzari just recently switched over to CWB boards after riding for Gator for as long as anyone can remember after Cassette closing down. Matt always seems to be on a bi-level and with the new dual level board from CWB Matt is right at home. In similar form to Reed, Matt also got down on the incline. Front bigs out, Frontboard 270 shuv out, Backbig out, Front shuv out and so many more the guys are unstoppable on the familiar incline.

If you didn't already know Reed and Matt are best friends. If their in the same state I can tell you they are together. Riding together, hunting together, building their 4x4 trucks together, these guys are two peas in a pod. Its funny too that wakeskating was the common thing that brought them together in the beginning. So when your out riding this summer and meet another shredder who knows. You guys might end up being life long friends because of wakeskating.

  • Dallas Friday, Nicola Butler and more shred System 2.0 at the projects

Alize Brion, Nicola Butler, Dallas Friday, and Maxine Sapulette came out to ride the Sesitec System 2.0 cable and proved that they can ride the cable just as hard as the boys. Throwing anything from a raley to an s-bend, they were all stomping their tricks with style. Towards the end of the session Maxine decided to kick it up a notch or two by throwing her s-bends to blind and even pulling a couple double s-bends. Not bad at all ladies, come back and shred anytime. It was an awesome day at The Projects wakeboard and wakeskate camp' (TM)s System 2.0 cable wake park, enjoy.
