DiSk8 is an old school oriented skateshop in Melbourne Florida. They carry over 200 decks and over half of their skate inventory are old school NOS (new old stock) or OS reissues...They carry nothing but the best new school, old school, longboard wheels and trucks...Their favorite companies are Abec11, Consolidated, RocknRon's Bearings, Santa Cruz, Zorlac, Black Label, Independent, Tracker, Seismic, Creation, Satori, Organika, Powell, Randall, Bennett, Tunnell, Least favorite brands are anything with major sports industry logos (can you say swoosh?) and skate decks not made in the Americas...

Owner David Clover has been skating since 1987 and has skated and lived in almost every state in the continental United States...He is very passionate about the history of skating and has been a collector of Skateboard Art since before most of us were born. His shop is core skateboard with a zany mix of a few of his other hobbies...Besides Old School skating Clover has some African and Latin Drums in his shop that he likes to play during his down times (during school hours) he also has a small display of Disc Golf Discs that have provided him a steady source of extra income in these times of economic crisis...DiSk8 is a concept Skateshop that opened as a few other area shops were closing down, being he saw the future of his type of business, thanks to Things like eBay and warehouse internet skateshops, he decided to include his items on eBay with a political message to all skaters that he feels is very important in these times that are increasingly hard for small skateshops like his own...The message; "Support your local skateshop, if you live within 10 miles of a skateshop then support them first and foremost, my prices are not slashed to the bare minimum because we believe there should be a Minimum Advertised price in the skateboard industry so Smaller shops like ours will not be closed down thanks to nonskate-oriented online sellers!"
