august 30 raceIts hard to believe that the motocross season is just about over already. It seems like it just started and now there are 4 races left. This weekend I was a little off. Didnt spend much time on the bike this last month and boy could you ever tell by my riding this weekend. But I still managed a 1st overall and didnt tear anything up to bad. So all in all, it was a good weekend. Guess I will have to start listening to dad about this practice stuff. One more race and that championship trophy will be mine. With one more good run I can clinch with 3 races to go.Well thats all for now.Keep it on 2 wheels and be safe. Channels: Moto august 2 raceMade another trip to Fly MX Park in Ohio for a race. Rained really hard from about 2am until about 8am. The track was a mud pit but thanks to the awesome crew at Fly, by race time it was as good as ever. First moto I went out and did what I did best, win. With only 6 bikes on the gate, my start was a little off and I was third by the first turn and first in my class (4 bikes were in my class) but that wasnt good enough. I wanted the overall lead. After stalking the 2nd place rider for 5 laps, I finally made my move but that didnt leave me enough time to run down the bike in the overall lead but I still finished first in my class. The second moto I decided that I wasnt going to play around that long and left the gate first in my class and second overall. I had a good race but made a couple of mistakes on some jumps that slowed me down and allowed the 3rd place overall bike to catch back up. Racing hard to keep my overall spot I went down hard in the whoop section. The bike took most of the punishment, bending the shifter and the left foot peg.I was beat up and sore from the wreck but had a huge lead on the second place bike in my class. This let me get back on the bike, cross the finish line first in my class and third overall. trying to hard did not help my position and almost cost me the overall win in my class. Live and learn. Well enough for now. Have fun at the track and stay safe. Channels: Moto july 19th racehad another good race this weekend. first place overall and more of a lead in the points. think i have the championship locked . planning on attending mx school in a couple of weeks. hope it will make me even faster. not alot to say this time. everyone out there have fun racing, that is what it should be all about. Channels: Moto 4th of July weekend raceWell another weekend long event is finished. 4 motos and 4 first place finishes. What a weekend. Stretched out the points lead. Had a small upset not paying attention to what the bike was doing but is was all good. I rode what was probably the smoothest set of races ever. I didnt go out and beat myself up, just ran a real smooth race, picked up the pace where it was needed and learned that the lap times where faster than trying to override the bike. Well , all for now. Maybe more to come later.See ya. Channels: Moto racingRacing this season has been pretty uneventful.I am in first place in my class, way out front. No big wrecks to speak of except the finish line wreck last weekend. That whip did not work out as planned, but what usually does? I am trying to get used to a new bike to race next year and it is driving me nuts. Being 10 and a girl, its tough to get people to take you seriously at the track. I feel like I have to always win but my family always tells me that having fun is more important. If it wasnt fun I dont think I would race anymore. My plan for the future is to be the first female supercross champion but hopefully there are other girls out there that have the same passion and try to beat me to that. I would love to hang with travis Pastrana and learn the backflip from him. That would be awesome. Well more later. I will try to keep you up on the race results. Later. Channels: Moto |
