Get well soon RV and I can't wait to see you smoking Dungheeps ass again! First, let's look at the Grind TV definition of the word "pimp". PIMP (or, TO PIMP) -verb to make cool, nice, or awesome Now that we have explored the historical history of "pimping", let's show you how to do this "pimping" to your profile. The first thing you want to do is get your colors and images thought out. To do so, go to "Edit Profile" in the top left of your screen. Looks like this... ![]() From the profile editing menu, you can click on "Layout" to switch your profile image from LEFT SIDE to RIGHT SIDE, click "Colors" to change your profile colors (make sure the colors don't clash in a way where text is not legible and my retinas burn out), and click "Background" to upload an image to your profile background (you can either upload an image of a color if you want solid color or upload a big image to consume the whole page like we've done here, though the image has to be over 1000 pixels wide and 750 pixels tall generally). You can do many other things from the profile editing menu like enter personal details, your preferred sports, your default profile image, and write blogs! ![]() Your new best friend is called the "module editing box". With this box you can drag modules up and down, left and right by holding your cursor onto the "click & drag" box at the top. The buttons on the bottom can change the title seen at the top of the module, edit the contents of the module depending on which one it is, or remove the module all together. Some modules can not be relocated or removed. ![]() You can also add modules to your profile by clicking this button under your profile image! ![]() When you click the button shown above on your profile you will get this menu, full of GOODIES! You can add modules you accidentally deleted, add new ones like featured videos or photos, and even add your twitter or blog RSS feed to your profile like our profile has on the left side! ![]() When you click "RSS Feed", the menu will ask for the link and will explain what links work or not. To get your Twitter RSS Feed link, go to your profile on Twitter, and scroll to the bottom of your right side bar and find the link circled in GREEN!!! Right click and copy link location (or just click on it and copy the URL) and enter it into the menu above! ![]() Well, good luck Grinders! The contest is on and we hope you make the coolest, nicest, awesomest profile ever! Remember to pimp profiles, not people. < previous 107 of 144 next > |
