My appoligies for my earlier comment. I can get quite angry (and generalize quite a bit) when people try to say that a great achievement or dream is stupid or foolish. I especially hate it when parents shoot down dreams, because they are the ones that are supposed to help make dreams reality. Its just not right.

And it is good to hear you are a teacher. There are so few teachers left. Its unfortunate that they dont get paid more, otherwise I'm sure a large number of very good people would be more than willing to be them.

And i do have to ask this question based on your post because i can't accurately answer it myself. What is more difficult for women, being emotionally alone, or physically alone? And to what degree does public opinion (i.e. popularity) play a role in either of those states?
