Anyone know what happened to Robbie Reynard? Haven't heard from or seen him in awhile. You see him every now and then racing, but then, "poof"--then he's gone. I made a comment on Racer X online about Damon (Bradshaw) racing outdoors in '09 if the rumors are true. To be honest I think that if Robbie (Reynard) could get some decent money put together (sponsors, off-season SX races in Europe to earn some extra $$$ for the outdoors, etc...), I think he could really put a decent run on during the '09 outdoor season. If I was him I would try to get with a well-heeled Honda dealer in TX somewhere (preferably in Dallas or San Antonio, or perhaps Houston...) and get a couple of CRF 450's and a parts allowance, get w/ someone like RG3 or Enzo racing for a Kit Suspension setup for his bikes and have his dad put together some kick ass motors and let it rip. To see guys like Bradshaw and Renyard give it hell outdoors against the young guns racing would be a sight to see. Yeah, there are a lot of fast young guys out there but a lot of them really don't have the heart and that is what I miss about guys like Bradshaw and Reynard, they are cut from a different cloth. They didn't ask for SX only contracts, they worked their butts off to do their best in BOTH disiciplines, not just one. Let me know what you think...
