I wish people would stop trying, desperately, to make it appear that when sharks kill people, it's an accident. This is total BS! Sharks are opportunistic animals, as are humans, and they will eat whatever the hell they want to eat. They don't care what we are, or what we think we are. They don't care that we are "God's creatures". They swim, they eat, they make baby sharks... that's it! If you are in the water (where the shark belongs, and you do not) then you are FOOD. Let me say this again... when you go into the water, YOU BECOME "FOOD". So go into the water all you want, but understand the risk you are taking. And this does not make sharks the bad guys. We are the bad guys! We go where we don't belong, and then get angry when it doesn't work out. Additionally, humans kill hundreds of millions of sharks per year, WHICH IS CRIMINAL. Sharks belong in the Ocean. We do not! They don't belong in shark-fin soup for the Asians. And all you American white trash, out there, on private fishing boats, killing sharks, because you think it's your

agree..but..OK Mate..I live in Australia on the Gold Coast....I am a 5 foot 105lb female 49 years of age and a SURFER which i do every day....I AM a wildlife biologist with a double specialty in genetics and infectious disease . I have been attacked by a 16ft tiger shark,and I manged to stab the shark in the eye with one of the many knives i strap on me.I had 6 other mates and my camera man in the water.....the shark came after me be because i was separate from the the others...I have my board,shark tooth and the attack on film.I have been surfing my whole life all around the world and this was the only time i was attacked by a shark. On the other hand a different story when the croc got me leg. BTW if you see a tiger shark with a knife in it's left eye..i want me knife back.

im not saying sharks are cold blooded killers i love sharks and know to stay away from theyre territory but the fact is if anyone is hungry enough theyre going to eat anything
