I decided from the day I picked up a skateboard when I was 16 that I'd skate differently from everyone else, create something all my own that no one could touch.

It's definitely been hard;
I've been ridiculed, hated on, disrespected and disregarded, but it all just further motivated me;
Motivated me to keep going to prove them wrong, Get everything cleaner, faster;
Motivated me to prove that trying to be an individual isn't synonymous with wackness.

It's been a hard 8 years, but I've carved a nice niche out for myself and I'm nowhere near done;
I'm still thinking up new tricks, still creating, still improving.
All while still learning the staples and "normal" tricks.

I don't know what my future holds, but it's not looking all that dim from this angle.
