• Skiers life tragically cut short


    Newschool skier CR Johnson passed away in Squaw Valley today.He went off a cliff at the Light Towers section of the mountain, hitting his head and neck on some rocks. He was not wearing a helmet.

    Johnson was the first skier to do a 1440, four complete 360 degree spins. He was a US Open champion and a world-class film athlete with style and confidence that inspired even the highest-level riders.

    This was not his first serious accident, in 2005 Johnson suffered a traumatic brain injury.

    He will be greatly missed. He was 26. R.I.P CR
