We'll the day started off kinda cloudy at 9am this morning with a 20% chance of rain in Davenport Iowa so Korey, Nathan, Nate, Gage, and I decided to take a drive up to the Davenport Skate Park. We crossed our fingers and hoped that the rain would just stay up there in the clouds.

We arrived at the skate park about 11:15 and it was cloudy but the park was dry so we did what we came to do. Korey hit a double stair to gap double stair set, a few drops and boxes, Gage pulled a clean kick flip off a box, while Korey followed with a ollie nose grab. Nate ventured over to an 8 stair and nailed that with ease.

Well a half our went by and the clouds started to get darker and it began to thunder. Some sprinkles started to fall but that wasn't chasing us out. A lot of the other bikers and skaters began to scatter. We were like sweet the entire park to our self. Well not long after everyone scattered it began to poor Korey and i decided to run for the car and take cover, while Nate, Gage and Nathan were practicing their wake boarding skills. After about 20 minutes of none stop pouring the boys retreated to the car and we headed to the mall to eat some food and dry off.

Now that we just filled our bellies with some food we went back out to check the weather, to our surprise it was cleared up! We headed back to the skate park for another great sesh.
