and if you're just like her closed-minded father you would understand that video games aren't a problem in society and to even think that before discussing alcohol and cigarettes is just silly.

There is no logic in your argument. You can let you kids think out of the box but when that kids decision becomes dangerous and obviously life-threatening, you have to pull the plug. The military is a different story that actually has a purpose in protecting our country while sailing around the world at 16 years of age by ones self is actually pretty pointless.
