It's nice that I don't fear death. Whether there is a God, gods, spirits, or nothing, I guess I'll know then. Whether I end up in Heaven, Hell, or nowhere, it's where I'll end up anyway. If there is a Heaven, I am not going to behave in a way I don't want to just to please some supernatural being, because that would be a lie. Most humans are just numbers to me, except for the few I care about. When I die, I die. Whatever, doesn't matter much; it was going to happen eventually. | |||||||||||

markmmajer Yiko is a "friend" of mine and he wanted to express his thanks to you for sticking up for the "wicked Japanese" fellow, so true buddy to call Yiko up on his grammar was a low hit by mukishizzy and radiactiverebecca has selective morals so on behalf of Yiko and I great thanks to you Sir *tips his hat* and Kudos for having a brain and using it.

I don't know if you are in Japan or not, but I am and I am also an Afro-American. I hear of culture all the time here--from my wife who is Japanese, from co-workers that are Japanese and associates that are the same. I understand where much of the cultural practices come from in places like here in Japan and Korea. Here Sushi is not cooked because several hundred years ago there was no fire in Japan and when it was brought here, there were those that thought it better to eat fish raw as they had been doing for generations past. But things that are cultural do not always make sense, so to justify the killing of whales or dolphins when there is so many other types of protein in the world is a shame. They have a role to play in the worlds oceans as does mammals and fowl, but it just happens to be certain ones were made for human consumption.
