Yeah, theres lots of sledding all over the state. Mt Hood is a volcano, all the mountains around are big as well. Hood starts out with foothills up to 5,000ft and the mtn. goes to 11,240ft. We have several Big mountains within 200 miles from here... Mt Rainier 14,411ft (4,392 m), Mt. Saint Helens 8,365 (used to be over 10,000ft before she exploded), Mt. Adams 12,276ft, Mt. Jefferson 10,497, Three Sisters Mtns. (3 mtns. over 3,000 meters) 10,338ft is the best access for sleds. Hundreds of miles of terrain. Maybe you should make a trip down here sometime... Still snowing today. Catch ya.

Hey bro how's your year been? We are just getting out of winter this week... We have had over 850 inches this year! Mostly too busy to film. We got a little bit, then two of our guys got injured. So, a little spring riding and then wait till next year. I'm still wanting to come up there next year... Later, Dave

Hey, What's up? Sorta know the feeling... I did watch it. I think i was one of the first to see it and back when we didn't have any snow to speak of in he lower levels.Man, I was drooling over the deep. Can't say that anymore. We are having an abondant year so far and a forecast of a storm a day... Probably the same cycle you are on. Been grooming at Mt Hood Meadows the past month about to start filming again now that all the Holiday peeps are out. Catch ya, Dave

Hey Bro! Thanks, lets keep in touch. This is a big logistical thing and will take a bit of planning. It's definately something we are interested in and we may have to do it next year because of that.

Yo! We can all sled and have mountaineering skills (climbing,Avi-knowledge, etc...). We do live in the mountains that dump like you, over 40 feet every year... One of our Posse, Joe Parsons has the world record for the loggest jump, set last spring. He'll be in the X-Games this year. Some of us are ski and snowboarding pros as well. Definately do not want go to a ski area... We just thought Terrace BC would be one of the "spots" this year and maybe you would help us out with locations, allowing us into you're secret spots since we would not be comin back (everyday, week, year, etc..) sorta like that. It would give a bunch of us a chance to meet totaly different, but similar people and have a great time doin it. I thought we could help each other with footage if your interested. We do have brand new Sony HD camcorders...

Hey Bro, I've come up with an idea that may be good for us both. How about a sort of trade or something like that. Me and a few guys come up and you show us some **** and we'll have some film sessions of you guys and then we can get our footage of us. In other words we'll film you and you take us up... You get awsome stuff and we get ours... I was thinking February??? Let me know what you think. Thanks, Dave D.

The rider in the vid is a friend of mine from Revelstoke, he was featured in Braaap 6 and was looking for a short promo clip using some of his footage. It is my first crack at editing sledding.
