Supercross is (nearly) upon us, and I have not been as diligent about sneaking out to the Factory Test Tracks as I have in the past. When gas was at its peak it made it very difficult to rationalize a trip all the way out to the test tracks. But now that petrol is back in the sub two dollar region, I'm going to try and make it back out there to shoot some photos. Another bummer though is that many of the riders have built their own tracks and the factory personnel often make their way to these private moto areas.

A while back I sent a text out to Mr. DeCoster to see if it would be alright if I stopped by his track while I was out snooping around to see what was going on. He replied that it would be no problem at all, if I happened to be in the state of FLORIDA! I ended up changing my plans for the day and went home. But this past Saturday, I told my son to get ready for a quick, but boring drive out to Corona, we were going "factory sniping." I had a feeling there was not going to be many guys out there, if any at all and I was right. It was a gorgeous day but the rains had rendered the tracks unusable. I had hoped I could get out there again the next day but that idea was ruined as soon as I woke to poring rain and monsoon winds.

Anyway, I did manage to get a few shots of the surrounding area of the tracks which is nice and green from the rain, and hopefully things will dry up quick because everybody will be in town gearing up for A1! Just let me know if you want to come out there with me, I'll see what I can do.
