What are your Goals for your first season on the 450?
Well obviously I want to be able to race with Chad and James; I want to get some wins in there, and when it comes down to the end of the season see where I'm at for points.

Was the move to the Supercross class intimidating?
You know even when we race the lights class we prepare for this jump and this move up, so I was pretty ready for it just nerves really.

How have you been adjusting to the 450?
It was really easy, at the beginning of outdoors I got to ride an '08 450 Mitch gave me, and once I did Nations I came back and started riding the 450. It was basically like my 250 but just bigger.

What venue are you most looking forward to?
The Canada round, because I did West coast two years and one East coast and I mean they are really all about the same because we don't get to stay there for long or see anything.

Is your pace where you want it to be right now?
Yeah, it's close to Chad and James and with a good start and 20 clean laps I think I'll be right with them.

How do you feel about your performance at A1?
It was good. I went in saying I wanted to do top five and that's what I did, but I mean I was disappointed because I wanted to be on the box really.

After having been Stewarts team mate throughout your time spent on the Lites bike, has your mentality changed at all now that you are no longer teammates but instead competitors?
You know James spends a lot of time in Florida so I never really got to hangout with him, I mean I think we are okay. I could be in the same shoes in a couple years you know where everyone is jumping teams, basically what happens is a way of life. With the way racing is, not saying and I mean obviously I'm not any better but we all switch around all the time and I think that's just the way it is and I'll probably be in those shoes in a little while, hopefully not, but could be.

After becoming so used to consistently winning, are you expecting a championship season right off the bat?
You know I have to see where I'm at halfway through the season, my ultimate goal is to win championships, first year or not. If not Supercross I definitely want to win a championship outdoors. Supposedly Chad and James aren't racing it, and if not I want to win the championship.

How do you feel about your upcoming races?
I feel confident, I think the more races I get under my belt, the better I'll be. Being able to race with Chad and James is my main focus right now so I think I'm pretty close and I'm on track.

    Great, thanks Ryan.
