I crack open a skate magazine or watch a skating show and see how made fun of they are then I go to my local park and one cuts right infront of me acting all gangster because he has wheels attached to his shoe. also it isnt quite mainstream. I know its been in the X games and **** but the primary audience of the X games is watchers and jocks who dont actually do an action sport. I dont know, I guess its a food chain jocks are mean to skaters because they are the lesser party then skaters are mean to bladers because they are the lesser party. I guess its not really *** and it is sorda cool but its been given plenty of time to become mainstream and it hasnt which shows you how cool it is to people. few people do it. and besides it is sorda hilariouse its like figure skating when they move there legs all funny. I cant help but chuckle when I see one at my park they look like they should be wearing pink tights and on an ice rink some where. that is what it evolved from. "agressive inlining" or fruitbooting evolved from iceskating where as skateboarding evolved from kick ass surfing so when it comes to the source you tell me whats cooler ice skating or surfing. besides its all about culture. which is cooler? a kid wheeling around on some fat boots with wheels or a cool all american mullet headed kid on a skateboard throwing down cool ****. I think I know which is cooler. not that it really matters, you do what you wanna do. as long as its cool to you. thats the message of skateboarding and i guess its also the message of rollerblading. ill give you that much respect but i refuse to be kissing your ass and calling it aggressive inlining. there isnt anything agressive about it. pinter says: Posted Over 30 Days Ago look dude im just telling you for your own benefit, when your old your gonna have an ass load of inline footy and when were old were gonna have an ass load of skating footy. the only difference is skating will always be cool for years and years atleast for the next century and are kids will love our footy but no one now or in the future will ever think fruitbootin is cool so pitch the wheely shoes and buy a skateboard and get pushin you'll thank yourself when your an old man and your kids arent laughing at you and calling you a ***. also if you walk past any news stands this month crack open a TWS and read the we've got mail section there's a roast of fruitbooters in there. a kid wants to know what the problem is between skaters and booters look at your ******* feet. thats the problem. im not trying to be your enemy. other then the *** kids who cant do anything else in life except fruitboot at my skatepark and get in my way I have no problem with your dying breed but trust me i'll give you a million dollars if theres ever a day fruitbooting is cooler then skateboarding. and if theres ever an anti fruitbooter coalition meeting then you can bet your wheels and your ass i'll be there. do I hate you? NO do I hate fruitbooters? like hell I do. |
