The Pale Horse Skate Shop was founded to fill a void. Lakeland, and Polk County for that matter, was missing "that skate shop". Lakeland's skaters just did not have a stand-alone, skater-friendly place to hang out and get their skateboarding wish-lists filled. We know, because we were customers long before we were entrepreneurs. We knew exactly what we had been missing and we set out to create "THAT PLACE" that we wished we had, all along.
