As the 2nd stop of the series, this is going to be a killer event at KC with lots of riding from the likes of Nick Davies, Tom Fooshee, Lior Sofer, Bob Soven, Shane Bonifay, Jim LaRiche, Kyle Hyams, Aaron Rathy, Keith Lyman and Kevin Henshaw. Needless to say, with all the heavy hitters going to KC this weekend there is going to be some unreal riding going down. Probably one of the most anticipated parts of the event will be the Ten-80 Obstacles-Only division. With a healthy mixture of the best cable and boat riders it's going to be rad to watch them on the water at the same time hitting the rails and kickers. A big thanks to Monster Energy Drink, Ten-80, Liquid Force, Ronix, Slingshot, Oakley, Pro-Tec, Alliance Wakeboard Magazine and KC Watersports for making this event happen. The format of the Pro and Open divisions will consist of one and a quarter laps around the cable, with riders getting a Monster Energy Trick at the end of their runs in the Finals. During the Ten-80 Obstacles Only divisions it will be a timed jam format that allows multiple riders to go out on the cable at once and go trick for trick on the rails and kickers. If you're coming out to watch the competition you don't have to stay dry all day. The general public can actually go and ride all weekend long during the event. KC Watersports is offering a two-day event pass for $50 for the general public. During the day there will be designated time slots to demo different products from all of the event sponsors, and the cable opens right after the contest is over until 8pm. Come out and ride with all the top pros! All riders will be required to have a Coast Guard Approved vest if they plan on riding during the public sessions throughout the weekend. Registration for the 2nd stop of the Triple Crown is now open. Please fill out the Triple Crown Stop #2 Registration Form and submit it to the WWA at EventOrganizer@thewwa.com. You will receive a confirmation email once you have registered. Please print this out and bring it with you to the event. Channels: More < previous 179 of 525 next > |
